Sunday Run – High Tea at Flowerdale Estate Strath Creek, Sunday 18 June
What better way to enjoy a winter Sunday than a lovely run through the rolling hills of the Murrindindi valley for a regal High Tea in a 19th century country homestead. Located in a picturesque area known as the Valley of a Thousand Hills, Flowerdale Estate is a stunning wedding, conference, dining and accommodation venue.
On selected Sundays throughout the year, Flowerdale Estate hosts a sumptuous High Tea. We have booked the High Tea on Sunday 18th June exclusively for our club.
Delight in everything that has made high tea a much-loved tradition – ribbon sandwiches, bite sized sausage rolls and tempting savoury morsels, petite desserts and of course, scones, jam and cream.
A glass of Pimms and lemonade upon arrival sets the scene for an exquisitely regal touch.
We will be meeting around 10.30 am at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, Old Healesville Road, Yarra Glen before setting off on enjoyable run through the Yarra Ranges and on through the Murrindindi valley to Strath Creek and the homestead at Flowerdale Estate.
